AI that earns its place on the file

Not a chatbot in the corner. Three jobs, each measured against work you already do — and every output labelled, sourced and reversible. Your data is never used to train anyone's model.

Questions

The things firms ask us first

Straight answers, including where we don't do something.

Trust ledgers are per-matter and per-account, overdrawing a client's trust ledger is blocked at the data layer, and monthly reconciliation with variance flagging is built in. Statutory reminders for reconciliation, interest and external examination run automatically. Your external examiner still signs off — we give them the records.

Yes — through the REST API, which accepts matters, clients, tasks and time entries with a scoped token. There is no self-service spreadsheet importer yet, so we run migrations with you rather than leaving you to it. Tell us what system you are leaving and we will scope it before you commit.

Only what a feature needs, and only when you enable it. You choose the provider and supply the key, so the relationship is yours. Nothing is used to train an external model. The “ask your data” feature never lets a model write a database query — it selects from prepared, firm-scoped reports.

No — and we'd rather say so plainly. Direct STP lodgement requires ATO Digital Service Provider accreditation, which is a regulatory relationship rather than a feature. We calculate pay, produce payslips and ABA bank files, and export an STP-shaped payload for your registered provider.

Settlement tracking and encrypted credential storage are built, but live PEXA calls need PEXA Developer Platform accreditation held by your firm. The scaffold is ready the day you have credentials; until then it is clearly marked as not connected.

Documents go to the backend you choose — local disk, Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, OneDrive or Google Drive — with credentials encrypted at rest. Switching backends migrates your files with a copy-verify-swap so nothing is lost in transit.
